In Plants vs. Zombies, players place differing types of plants and fungi, every with their own distinctive offensive or defensive capabilities, around a house so as to prevent a horde of zombies from reaching the house of the residents. The taking part in field is split into 5-6 horizontal lanes, and with rare exceptions, a zombie can solely move towards the player's house on one lane (the main exception is that if it's taken a let loose of a garlic). Planting prices "sun", which might be gathered for gratis (albeit slowly) throughout daytime levels and by planting sure plants or fungi. Most plants will solely attack or defend against zombies within the lane they're planted in. In later levels, players should purchase upgrades with completely different offensive and defensive talents.
